If you are coming from Lucca : Follow the signs for GARFAGNANA. Before Castelnuovo take the ring road tunnel on the right. At the second roundabout keep right and immediately right again and then left towards Villacollemandina. After about 2km after the Crociale sign, turn right for Castiglione and after 100m you will be arrived.

If you come from Aulla : Follow the signs for S.Romano after which you will meet Villetta and Pontecosi. About a kilometer after this last sign, turn left and then left again towards Villacollemandina. After a few hairpin bends, follow the flat to the Crociale sign. Take right, the first, and you will be arrived.

If you are coming from Modena : Follow the signs for Passo delle Radici and then for Castiglione. At the first houses in the village, after passing the Carabinieri barracks, turn right onto the road to the cemetery. Continue downhill for 800m and you will be arrived.

By plane

At the Pisa airport : We are only one hour away from the G.Galilei international airport of Pisa from where you can rent a car, reach Castelnuovo and follow the directions above or take the train to Castelnuovo.

By train
At Castelnuovo di Garfagnana station : Located on the Lucca-Aulla line, Castelnuovo can be reached by train from any location. By agreeing in advance we can arrange to pick you up on your arrival.
